When should I create a Work Order?
Work Orders are used when an issue can only be resolved by going on-site. Because of the scheduling, mapping, and mobile application integration of Work Orders, they are intended to be used by field techs to work an issue at a Customer Site.
How to Create a Work Order
Work Orders are created from existing Cases. First click on Cases in the left Accordion menu and then find the Case from which the Work Order will be created. Choose the Case that is most relevant to the issue being addressed by the Work Order.
Once the Case is opened in its own window, click the New Work Order icon in the window’s ribbon menu (it’s a person in a hard hat with a wrench).
