How to Dispatch and Reschedule Work Orders from the Mobile App
It is possible to receive a Work Order, and then send it to someone else.
Select the desired Work Order. Next, select the Menu in the top right hand corner. Scroll down to the heading of “Actions” and pick “Assign Work Order”. This then allows the field tech to choose from all of the Queues in the Business Unit. They should select the Personal Queue of the individual they want to give the job to.
It is possible to reschedule a Work Order to a later time.
Select the desired Work Order. Next, select the Menu in the top right hand corner. Scroll down to the heading of “Actions” and pick “Reschedule”. This then brings up the estimated Travel Start time stamp of date and time, which can then be changed.
It is possible to change the estimated time on the Dispatch Board
If tech gets to the job and realizes it will take longer than the estimate (ex. Repair job default is 2 hour block, but tech sees this will take up to 4 hours), they can go into the Menu and select “Reschedule”. From here, they can select the Work Duration at the bottom and change it to how long they believe it will take. This will then reflect on the Dispatch Board so the dispatchers know not to give him a job that might conflict.
