How is a customer stored in the software?
A customer is a mix of a Site and a Contact. Every site needs at least one contact. When you create a case and the eventual invoice, they require selecting a site and a contact.
How is a contact associated with a site?
Each site can have multiple contacts – and each contact can be associated with multiple sites. Activity associated with a contact stays with the site in which the activity was done.
Can I add, remove, edit contacts and sites?
You can add a new site or contact at anytime as long as you have the security role permissions to do so. Each contact and site can be edited anytime, but they can’t be removed.
Why can’t I remove a site or contact from the system?
Sites and contacts get attached to a wide variety of activity. Deleting the site and contacts from the system would cause instability. Instead, they can be marked “Inactive” to hide them from view.
Can sites be nested under each other?
GoServicePro has a hierarchical organizational structure for sites to be nested under each other up to 3 levels deep. We call these levels: District, Region, and Office.
