How are contracts, pricing, service level agreements, and preventative maintenance related?
Contracts contain “Schedules” that can be attached to Parts or Sites. Schedules contain “Service Offerings”, Adjustments, and Preventative Maintenance tables. And Service Offerings contain “Inclusions”, “Service Items”, “Service Levels”, and “Price Books”
What do each of the terms mean in GoServicePro?
- Inclusions are items to exclude from billing. Ex. Exclude “Travel” from invoices.
- Service Items are line items that can contain “Tasks”. Ex. “Complimentary Cleaning”
- Service Levels are response time expectations. Ex. Respond within 3 days.
- Price Books are lists of tiered labor pricing and markups. Ex. $100 an hour for the first hour.
Can a contract be applied to more than one site?
Yes, but if it needs adjusted, GoServicePro allows for “Adjustments” to be made to either raise or lower the prices you’re charging.
How do I setup Preventative Maintenance?
When you’re looking at the contract in GoServicePro, there will be a tab that says “Preventative Maintenance”. Once you’re in that tab, the ribbon menu will change to add an icon to add Preventative Maintenance (PM). Once the PM is setup, it can then be edited to become recurring.
How do I apply a contract to a new case?
When you’re creating a new case, choosing a Contract automatically chooses a Service Offering, which contains billing and service level agreement (SLA) information.
